Take the bolt out on the bottom and get a towel or something to clamp pliers or vise grips on and pull and wiggle it'll come out, Yes it does give you gain not to mention it sounds better!! good luck

i took the baffle out by taking out the screw and throwing it in the trash. then i sprayed a small small amount of w-d40 on the baffle. i then hooked on to that baby with my vise grip pliers and started turning. slowly the hole thing came out. i then tossed it into the trash. i like the sound and the power gain.

I was talking about the screen spark arrestor you get with after market exhausts. I pulled mine and it killed the top end power. I checked the plug and it was a white as my ***. Before it was the proper color. So, I think you need to rejet when pulling the arrestor on aftermarket systems. I think I will go up two sizes on the mains and check it out.
