I beat the hell out of a big bore blaster a bunch of times....I posted it on the ATC forum.
He had mostly the same stuff as the on explained on this topic.

2 punks on brand new 450R's, and the guy with the blaster weighs about 140 soaking wet.

There are kits aviable for 240, 265, 270, and 290. However you can't go that big just by boring the sleeve, or installing a bigger sleeve. In order to get the higher numbers you need to stroke the crank to gain the extra cc's. I guess any combanation is possiable if you bore and stroke.

Thanks schonertkyle, Wait until you see the new pics in the New Year, she's got a makeover!

Okay, here you go.

Blaster, stock bore, Wiseco piston, Eric Gorr midrange porting & head mod, FMF, open air box, uni filter.

VS

Z400, DG full exhaust, K&N, jetted, no air lid.

Those are in my garage and maybe I'll have my two 80 pound test riders line them up tonight! Any bets who wins this one?

the z will still win. Without somthing to feed that port work your not getting the most power out of it. Maybe a larger carb might put the favor towrads the blasty.
