Raptor vs. DS 650 vs. Predator
#1
Which bike is faster the Raptor, 650, or the predator. I want to get the raptor but i want to make sure its as fast or faster than these othe ones here. Also is it a good quad to jump and can i take it to the dunes .

First off all are great dune machines. Bone stock the DS is a little faster. THe Raptor and Predator are a close second. I wouldn't get hung up on which one is faster in stock trim. Once you start modding it doesn't really matter. The Raptor has a lot of mods on the market and the DS has unlimited potential. The Predator seems to have fewer options when it comes to mods. Suspension has to go the DS and Predator. THe Raptor suspension is not all that great combined with its high center of gravity and narrow track. It can be corrected but takes some $$ to do so.

These machines are neck to neck, some quads come faster than others in stock form, but almost always the DS has a bit higher top speed, but who wants top soeed anyways? If you are mostly going to do dunes, if would go with either the DS, or the Raptor. The raptor has awesome torque, and the DS, is just plain fun.

Stock the 3 quads you mentioned are so close in performance that it does not matter. Pick the one you want and go from there. (i would stay away from the polaris) It takes money to make them all go. Spend 750 dollars on a raptor and it will be a whole new machine.

14mins I am going to have to disagree with you there a little. There is nothing wrong with the Predator. All are great quads, the DS is built like a sherman tank, the raptor is fast and light, and the Predator is somewhere in the middle of the two. By installing bolt ons they all three come alive in performance.
Now if you want all out power later on then the DS and Raptor would be the better choice.
