i was thinking about doin this, but i dont know lilknotts has them on his ds in this forum, but i want to know how he did it with the rim and the other stuff, how you weld it, and how much a cheap pair of skis is thanks!

i did it myself, by taking a plate of 1/4 steel and drilling out the wheels bolt pattern, to get the bolt pattern i used the dust gaurd, the i drilled a hole at the bottom of it to bolt on a ski, and then reinforced it, by " welding or bolting" another piece of 1 1/2 steel bar to each end of the metal plate, then i bolted it on to the front hubs, and put the bike on level ground , and then put a tie rap around the front brake handle so the hubs don't spin because that would hurt if it did.

how do you secure the ski from goin to far forward, or to far backward? and what do you use to stud the tires, like put carpet on the inside and then use a tubE?????

well heres my setup, it has a piece going from the ski mount to the spindle which has brass bushings one it , that piece has another piece coming off of it going to the fender mount but unless you have a ds you won't be able to do that, you could however have the piece going to your caliper mount, bvwarrior's way is easier but if you brakes ever let go your screwed
