if you let off the gas whille going down a hill or idle'ing and a atv starts poping does the mixture screw need to be turned in or out . this thing is about to drive me crazy ive posted before about this same quad its a 95 bayou 300 it runs great just pops its soo annoying rideing behind my dad hearing tahat . so pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee help [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

if you go past about 3 1/2 turns with still no success

time to get a bigger pilot

Also check that your exhaust connections are tight and not leaking, that will cause it also. good luck

 

IT DOES HAVE A SMALL LEAK AROUND THE HEAD PIPE YOU CANT HEAR IT BUT WHEN IT CRANKS UP IT SMOKES A LIL AND SOME SMOKE COMES OUT FROM AROUND IT. NEEDS VALVE SEALS
