Default Dirtwheel's YFZ pipe shootout.. i have questions..

ok so i was bored and was reading a back issue of dirtwheels and it happened to be the issue with the yfz exhaust pipe shootout. i am confuzzled at how they judged the GYT-R. Dirtwheels complained about how it made no bottom end and didnt pick up and it was BARELY better than stock however when i saw the dyno readings the curve and numbers were not much different than that of the DR.D which they were all praising to be the best pipe out there... im just confused maybe im missing something can someone explain this?

Maybe Yamaha wasn't advertising their GYT-R parts in Dirt Wheels.

They liked the uncorked version of the GTYR pipe in the past. The one they tested was the quiet version. If you read what they said about each individual pipe you would notice that it claims the Two Bros. pipe makes the most top end, then it says later on in the shootout that the ESR "by far the best on top end" Check it out. Dirtwheels isn't that smart I wouldn't let them get to you.

Maybe it means top end like rpm range? Two bros might have the peak, but esr might have a better all around topend? Does that make any sense? Nope

The white bros. E2 made the highest peak horsepower. When they say best top end they mean it pulls longest or hardest all the way to the rev limiter.
