Ride it for a while, drop the oil at 10 hours, and at 20 hours drop the oil and adjust the valves, chain, and parking brake. After that just drop the oil every 20 or so and you'll be fine, it will all be in the owners manual. Keep an eye on the tire pressue, the tool kit comes with a pressure guage, if the tires get low it will feel tippy, other then that have fun, remember let it warm up real good and ride it like you stole it. You'll love the bike, good luck.

Oh yeah, good choice on the color

Ya warm it up really good now and then every time you ride it, you will be amazed how much power you lose at the beginning if its not warm, and ontop of it its not good for the engine, also when you first start riding it don't floor it for the first few hours, and don't go a constant speed, vary your speed, but try not to go past half throttle, go through all the gear.

On this part some people might dissagree, but use non synethic oil for the first 2 oil changes, people say you don't have to cause the engine is broken in but if you want to play it safe do that, since syntheic oil lubes better than normal oil and it doesn't let all the parts wear in as well. Best off use yamalube for now and then chose something different later if you want. Also don't get any oil thats energy saving II or any desiel oils (CD) (thats what they recommend on my raptor.)

Thats all I can think of... Oh ya have fun lol.

Mike.

what are you talking about??? the 04's and 05's are identicle, and their the same as the warriors just different plastics, which were one of the most reliable, user-friendly bikes ever made!

hey, theres a little more to a rappy then the warrior, the carb/exhaust is better, the rear suspension is totally different, different tires/gearing, and the list goes on............................but basically a warrior with new plastics.

yea, but internal engine parts remained the same, so the reliablilty will be really good, just like the warrior. it shouldent give you any problems if you just maintain it good.
