Default what is a good price to pay for Mud lite tires

I have a 2004 kodiak 450 and I want to install a set of mud lites on it I have a few questions.

1.I rided trails, some hill climbs, and I like to mud. So is the mud lite the tire for me?

2. what is a good price to pay for a set of 26" mudlites?
3. by moving up for 25" stock tire to 26" mud lites will I loss power?
4. how much higher will it set up my kodiak?
5. will i loss alot of power if I go to the 26" 589
6. When it states 26" 10-12 what are the numbers for, I know or think the 26 is the height what are the other two numers for?

Thanks

here we go...
1. yes
2. 265ish is the lowest i've seen
3. yes
4. 1/2inch
5. about the same...as i used to believe the weight of the tires does not effect the power loss as much as the overall size upgrade of the tire...by upsizing to a 26" tire you increase the gear ratios...the difference of the gear ratios is what makes you lose power...the increase of power needed to turn those "taller gears" is what really makes you lose power...tire weight contributes to this but not near as much as the size...
6. 10 is width 12 is size of rim
all of these answers are from personal experience...
any questions?
