Default please kodiak owners

I have tried to ask a couple of times and only 1 response so far. real quick ?. i have a 1995 kodiak 400 4x4. i would appreciate if someone could tell me what size is the drain bolt plug. does anyone know anything about the oil gallery bolt. i could not get oil to seep out. thanks

If your talking about the drain plug on the bottom i pretty sure its 19mm. If its rounded off any you will need a 6 point socket that is does not have beveled edges.

The oil gallery plug, is just a confimation, that oil is getting to the head. I wouldnt mess with it, unless you think you have an oiling problem. The motor has to be running, and you break loose that plug, and unscrew maybe a turn or two...dont remove it completely. Oil should start weeping out the threads.
The oil drain plug is metric, and its probably buggered up. In which case, youre gonna want to change it when you finally get it out. Buy one now, and then youll know which socket fits best.

The gallery bolt on my Wolverine was 8mm. Just crack it loose a half turn, start the engine. When the oil starts to seep out tighten it up.
