UNI...all the way...a pain to clean, but oiled properly is the best filter for the money.

How is air-flow through them? Will I be giving up much tossing the K&N or do u think my setup is cool?

K&N for the dunes and when I race, UNI for trail riding.

I think the first reply put it best. I have been told they have the same airflow.

hey D3athShad0w, when i was using K&N filters i always used the prechargers. btw VelociRaptor350 when i was racing, if there was a puddle of water on a track (that was big enough), and i hit it, it would completely soak my filter. i guess the prefilters are just water resistant and not water proof.

Ya def man they do help lots but moisture kills your top end with that setup (the cut airbox lid doesn’t help). This is why I’m considering the UNI filter now but I don’t know how much its going to hinder performance on me if at all? I like my precharger (called a douche-bag here), is there a need to precharge the UNI or is the flow really that good and filtered well?
