What octane should we run in a stock Raptor. Also same question for a Raptor with full exhaust, Aftermarket air filter and rejet of course.

I would say 91 or better. MAYBE even 89, not sure though.

The owners manual says that the Raptor is designed to run on regular unleaded gasoline with a pump octane number ([R+M]/2) of 86 or higher, or research octane number of 91 or higher.

86-87 octane is typically your regular pump gas. 99.9% of the time this octane level will be plenty sufficient for a stock engined bike. Bolt ons like a pipe or filter changes should not and will not impact compression and therefore dont have an impact on the required octane level.

Premium pump gas of 91-94 octane is overkill and completely unecessary on a stock bike. Because of manufacturing variations and condition variations some bikes may run better on slightly higher octane, typically the midgrade level of 89 octane.

I wasn't sure, that is just what my friend runs in his. I usually run 89 or 91 in my Z.

Lots of bikes come jetted on the rich side that is prolly why it runs better with lower octane. The Raptor should be fine with midgrade fuel - ETHANOL *CRINGE*

Heres a link to one of the best octane articles ever written:

Octane vs. Horsepower

This article addresses the positive and negative effects of too high or low an octane rating for specific engine characteristics. Hopefully it will clear up any misconceptions you have. Enjoy!
