Default anyone running a pro circuit T-4 on a Raptor???

what jets should I use for an 04 Raptor with a K&N filter and a T-4 slip-on. Where should clip be moved and how many turns should I come out? I bought the pipe used and am getting no help from Pro Circuit

RaptorSmitty-I had a T-4 on my first 686 which was just a piston and air filter with jetting and my jetting was( stock clip position for needle jet - stock pilot-air fuel screws 3 turns out and 175-180 mikuni mains )and this set up ran very strong.I should add that i was at 11:1 compression but your raptor should be pretty close with these settings if your elevation isnt above 1500 feet or so. I have messed with the jetting on my raptor quite a bit and at least for mine it likes to run a little bit rich so i would give the 175-180 mikunis a try and if they seem way to large just work your way down from there but i think that you will get good results with this.If you are using the lid on your air box you will have to step down a couple of sizes on the mains but you will probably want to lose the lid as i did to get the most out of your pipe and jetting.

duneittilludie- I ride mostly around sea level up to 2000 feet. I will try those and see what I get. I won't likely remove the lid since the area I ride tends to have lots of water especially early in the riding season(lots of snow melt) Thank for the info

If you do want to run without a lid you can use the outerwears waterproof pre filter which is actually fairly good at keeping water out.I ride the dunes in the winter quite a lot and we have to cross through many water holes which can be as deep as one and one half to two feet deep and we have no problems with water contamination as long as we go slow. There is a product called the UNI-VENT which is a small 1" diameter filter that you can insert into your air box lid (after you drill the 1" holes)to get more air in and if you use them on the side of your air box they keep the water out and let more air in so you may want to look into that also.I have found that if you spray the foam portion of the uni-vent filter with scotch guard they also repel water very well.

duneittilludie-I will look into those options. During the summer the water isn't as bad, after the snow melts. Right now the conditions are back and forth from cold to just above freezing, so the ice conditions keep varying. The bad part about where we ride during the winter is sharing it with the trucks. They break up all the ice after we have crossed and we get stuck coming back through and drowning our quads. It is a constant battle between spending all winter looking at our quads or riding and deaing with it. I would rather ride!!!! Thanks again for the good info.
