Im stuck between the Raptor 660 and the Predator???
Buy a poopalaris and be sorry, or buy a raptor and be happy. The raptor has more potential, cheap to mod and all the bugs are worked out of it. Most poopalairs will drive you wacky with nickel a dime crap that seems to always break. The resale value will be better a few years down the road on a raptor. About the only place you can trade a poopalaris in is at a poopalaris dealer or the local landfill. ( providing you take the fluids out)

Predator.....unless you want starter problems and the carbs poping out of the boots, then get the Craptor! I was not going to say it.....but when you call Polaris poopalaris...can't help my self.

If you learn how to jet, you can avoid 99% of the carb boot problems. As for the starter there are lots of simple preventative measures, not to mention the fact that a large number of one way failures come from people with increased compression. Of all of the raptors I have owned and have come acrossed in my area, only one has had to replace the one way. That was an 01 model with 11:1 piston that had been beat to hell. Its an issue but its not a given.
Give the 05 pred a little time, the quirks and issues will come up just like they do for every other quad.

I think you will be happy with either atv there both great machines but you will never know which one is best suited for you unless you bought both lol .And lord knows if i ever win 5gzz on my next trip to miss to gamble i will have a pred no no a yfz 450 naa maybe a banshee [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] if i was only rich.
