Coil test?

Coil test?
I have been doing a frame up restoration on my Polaris and now I'm on to wiring and I can't get fire I have been through everything a thousand times. I think the coil might be bad, I can't seem to get a reply in the Polaris forum. Is there an easy way to check it? Thanks, Paul
