i have a YFZ and months ago with my first attempt at jetting i unscrewed the bottom plate of the carb (instead of just the hex nut for the main and pilot jet) and some fuel came out. i am not too familiar with carb floats but was hoping it was ok. it ran fine and still does now. but just kinda popped back in my head that i did that, thats not the carb float right?

 

the plate just holds the jet it, lol, your fine.
