2005 Kodiak Grease Fittings
I just bought the 05 Kodiak and after swearing about the grease nipples. I just replaced the bottom IRS arm zerks with 45's and the top with 90's. The job is a cake walk now. The rear drive shaft is no problem, you just need to roll it back to mgain access then grease from either side of the bike. The fronts are a bearcat and require a needle fitting (not syringe tip), they are best attacked from the bottom and a spare set of hands doesn't hurt to either pump the grease or put pressure on the needle to depress the ball valve in the Zerk. Also a flex hose is preferred and an 18" one helps for hitting the front drive zerks!

I have 2005 Kodiak 400 4X4. I have not been able to find the two on the front. I do not have a U-Joint going to the front Differential. It is more like a CV joint.
Any information would be helpful. - Thanks

2005 Kodiak Grease Fittings
Mine is a 450 the front u is located directly behind the front diff. It would be approx. straight down from the handle bars, very tight location so you may not be seeing it. I dropped my skid plate and hit them from the bottom vs triing to wiggle and lose knuckle skin from the sides. I would think the 400 would be similar but don't know seeing this is my first Kodiak.
