I keep trying to change my e-mail address in my profile but it will not take!1 I do it right. I keep getting these generic replies from this forum when I seek help. When someone selects the e-mail button in my message it gives them asdl@bellsouth.net. I have changed it to 10101@ga.prestige.net. Please fix it. I have done it by the book without success.

Rock:

I have had exactly the same problems and have tried several times to get the Moderator to respond and update my new e-mail address. Additionally, I have tried, step-by-step, by the book, to change it via "Modify" and have no luck.

Moderator: Please change my e-mail address to:

rob4092@home.com

Thanks!

I changed my e-mail address too but it would never change. Then I checked my e-mail and a new code had been sent to me and when I logged in using the new code, the e-mail address was updated. Just took awhile to figure this out. I stayed in here changing it like 5 times.

Ok Ok OK,,
Heres a couple tricks.
First, this way. go Modify profile/These profile options may be modified HERE/Members area w-conf.code/login successful/(This is important!) Click-Options! Then either change your e-mail address and submit,,,,,,,,,Or ad a letter to your handle then submit. Then re-register your original name since it is now availible because you changed the original the step before.

Give the server a minute or two to catch up.
I did it it works trust me.
God I feel like I work here.

Important Note: If you change one or more of the preceading items the change will not go into effect until you sign on again using a new confirmation number. Your new confirmation number will be emailed to you a few minutes after you click the MODIFY button. If you do not receive your confirmation email message in a few minutes, please verify that you entered your email address correctly and then re-submit the change.
