I get called a kid from a 17 year old who's daddy got him a quad probably cause he "got good grades", and "trailer trash" calls Honda junk, all the while hanging off Craycrafts nuts. Trailer trash nuthugger, now I've seen it all.........

 

I sit back and read the great Honda v.s. Yamaha debate and can't stop laughing. Can't we all just get along... HELL NO. I love competition, it's what drives the sport, so even though this thread is full of people b1tching at each other, without it we would be riding LT125's right now!

 

You give us too much credit. Nearly all the yamaha guys would jump ship if honda put out an ATV with a wicked motor. But they're at yamaha because they are the only company who makes it a market strategy to do that.. They dont get along with honda people though because they cant fathom why they remain loyal and even try to defend the machines by digging for any advantage they can dig up. I dont think there are many "loyal" yamaha ATV fans.

 

Jackal- You are correct, if Honda had the ***** to build a killer big bore yamaha guys would cross over to the red land and buy one.

LTZ- You would be amazed at how many 727 raptors craycraft has built for kids under 18 at mommies and daddies expense. These are 5000.00 plus motors on top of the quad and all that got spent on the a-arms, shocks,axles etc. The Craycraft nuthuggers?? LOL Guys that have a Craycraft are very happy with what they have and how they were treated by Craycraft. That is not the norm in this industry. Why not express it? Bob is a personal friend of mine, but i would not call it nuthugging. I was friends with Bob way before he started on raptors, in fact i caused him to start doing raptors. But the thread here is about Yamaha reign being short and it is not from the majority of the replies.

You know the yamaha yfz came out first and Honda sat back and waited to release there 450r. They should have spent that time TRYING to ONE-UP the yamaha yfz and yet THEY DID NOT. Yet they charge like they did. LOL The Honda 450r sales are not impressive at all. Yamaha yfz guys would have jumped ship in a Hurry if the Honda was superior to there YFZ. But it is not. The only group of loyal buyers is Honda guys. Honda produces crap and the red heads still buy them.

I have read for years on these forums that the honda guys WAIT, WAIT and Wait for the Honda Gods to come out with a new sport quad for them to buy. WHY? Why wait 4 or 5 years ? Why be slow and miserable waiting?

I personally own a yamaha, Honda and a kawaski. I could care less who makes it if it serves the purpose

14, this forum is a breeding ground for CCR groupies. It was when CCR started up, and still is today but in a lesser extent. CCR is great and they do excellent work, but to say this forum and some others are not biased would be cheating the truth.
