Last week i raced i guy i know that has a 300ex. I took him thru 3rd gear, and then he took off and left me, as i figured he would, but when i got tacked out in fifth gear i started catching him, and i eventually past him. When we stopped i asked if he was still full throttle when i passed him and he said he was. I thought that 300ex should be faster than a wolverine considering the extra weight, 4x4, etc. Also i had my stock tires on.

 

Wolverines and 300EX's are both dogs...Dont get overexcited haha.

 

I would think the 300 would whip the wolverine on take off since its sooo much lighter and it has a clutch but on top end it should be real close.

 

the wolverine isn't my only quad and i'm sure compared to my 250r ur little blaster would be a dog.

 

Your putting a 350cc sport/utility vs a 300cc sport, i think stock for stock the 300ex is going to win, but if you race in some slippery stuff, you'll win because of the traction. It depends alot of the riders as well, its about 40 percent bike, mostly rider. If he knows what he's doing and how to shift good, he's got you beat. you had him untilk 3rd because of traction, then he had you because of the power you loose through the awd setup, then you got him because your gearing is porbably higher then his.

 

Last time I raced a 300 ex I beat him all the way through the gears. I also was racing a less experienced rider and like veloci said when you compare those 2 it is 40% bike the rest the rider.

 

That sure is big talk coming from someone who drives a blaster.

lol 2fast, you can blame tom at sweetquads, i go in asking where my intake was and i left with a cam on order, ill definetly let you know how it works out, im running out of jets in my DJ kit, only 1 more left and time to start ordering more.

 

And by the way thats a nice little blaster banshee392 but that big azz gap between your foot peg and back tire looks DANGEROUS get you some nerf bars or some widder pegs are you gonna get hurt and if you get rid of them ballons on those back rims you will enjoy your blaster soooooooooo much more.
