Trading in quad for.....?
#1
As of now I have a 99 Blaster, Im 21 5'10" and 150lbs.
The blaster is kinda fun to ride and was kinda a teaching tool for me but now I feel like its time to move on to another quad.
Ok heres the catch, (this sux) Me and my finace just got approved for a house, so now we are going to have more bills to deal with, 800 house payment, pc, water, elec, food, gas, cars, quad, phone, cable, internet, insurance, and anyting else we put on ourselves.
Right now my monthly payment for the blaster is $75 a month and I owe around 2k left on the bill.
Im looking to get a warrior, 400ex, (raptor? i wish, shee? I wish) the quad has to be low payments around the same now, maybe a 4 stroke, and im going to trade in my blaster for it. The blaster is in excellent condition.
Any suggs.?

Owning a house at your age is great. Dont screw the rest of your life by getting into debts so fast. I had my first house at age 18. Try not to buy anything on credit. I know its hard cause you want it now. Dont buy anything brand new such as cars and recreational toys. I want the Raptor so bad but I know i will be screwed on all the extra charges. i will wait till next year and save a lot by buying someones use one.
As far as your quad sell it yourself for retail price. Dont trade it in you will get screwed!!.
Then go out and buy a good used quad. If you dont have the money save it. I can talk all day how to make money but to some its boring..

Heh, thx for the info, im pretty much a good money manager, and all the bills I have now I manage very well, my finace only has 2, car and insurance so shes off pretty good, mine are only quad, house, pc, car, insurance.
Both have very stable jobs (im in the career I finally want).
If I could only find a quad for sale at a good price or another new one for about the same as my payment on my blaster, but if all else fails I'll stick with the blaster before I put myself in debt.

I'm totally with Nick. I also bought my house at a young age, and dug a HUGE hole for myself. I finally got a decent job makeing good bucks, and 8 years later, I'm almost out of the hole.
Sell the Blaster outright, and buy a good used 400EX. Oh yeah, and when you buy it, try to buy a stocker, It's been my experiance that the machines with all the toys, are the hardest run, and quite a bit more expensive. Running a stock 400EX will be quite an improvement for you, and then you can gradually upgrade it yourself, as your skills biuld. (again, from experiance, hence the name)

Quick! Sell you blaster and buy my Warrior. It's 97 but it's still like new. Hours? I don't really know but the orginal tires are still in ex. cond. and I just replaced the rear brake pads for the 1st time. So that's pretty low hours.
