Default First bike........

My girlfriend is looking to buy a quad REALLY soon. She has ridden some during her younger ages, but needs a real starter bike. I was thinking a Blaster or a Raptor 350??? ANY input would be great. And if you have input for sny other model, please feel free to do such.

What kind of riding is she planning on doing most often? How good is she with the clutch?

Well, more dunes with me, and some trail/river by my house. I live in the country right next to a river that is mostly empty throughout the year. So, mostly dunes/trails.

out of the 2 you listed i would go with the raptor 350. There is nothing wrong with the blaster but having the strong low end on the raptor will come in helpful on the trails. A 300ex is another choice you might want to consider, its a little less powerfull than the 350 but it is very agile and has a low center of gravity, considering she isn't too tall.

ID say the 350 just for the low end power and the extra length and width over the blaster it might save her on the hill's as well as the low end power might help her too since she wont have to keep it dialed in on the power band. The 350 would carrier her lil but around pretty fast and be able to climb some pretty nasty hills.

good luck on which ever you chose
and good rideing to you and her.

I was kinda thinking the same thing, only because of the type of two-stroke powerband, that she might do better on the 350.

Thanks man, she is really excited about this, only because I just used to go riding, and she could never go, so now that we can go together, is a really good thing.
