My cousin's 02 rap and my 03 rap are still on stock clutches. Mine's been through 2 seasons of sand drags, dunes and trails along with 3 winters on the ice. The other is just a stock trail bike that does a lot of drag racing for fun.

All in all I usually get 2-3 years out of a clutch if I'm hard on it, 4-5 if I'm not.

I just want to replace mine for better heat dissipation and better springs - it's about time anyway.

I am on the third clutch for my 2004 raptor....however, in my quads defense this is my first ATV so i learned how to ride on it and i used to always ride the clutch and hold it half way in so i smoked a couple clutches. It took me a couple clutches but now I know you are not supposed to hold a clutch half way in or it will smoke it pretty fast!!!! I learn from my mistakes, sometimes it just takes more than one.....LOL

Im still on my stock clutch, it was slipping so I just got some EBC HD clutch springs. But lately it has been slipping, like if Im racing and in 2nd or 3rd, it feels like if I hit neutral all of a sudden and the engine bounces off the rev limiter. Next clutch will be a GYT-R for sure, havent heard anything but good stuff about that kit.
