tearoffs

Default tearoffs

if i was going to race would i need tearoffs? or would the smith roll things work. my question is because i don't want to wear tearoffs but if it will help my chances of winning shoudl i get them? and do those smith rols work good?

either or their both good just personal pref
u deffinatly need if racinng

you think?? i've riden b4 with just goggles and havn't had a problem.. never even riden with tearoffs b4 [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

alot of times they water ttracks between motos
u better get holeshot if u r not wearing something
hard to jump when u cant see landing

i havn't riden many MX tracks but what i have riden on it hasn't been to bad.. but d@mn when you go throghu a burm into mud and a shee roosts you and they have RAZR's o god did it hurt..

I wouldnt go anywhere without tearoffs. Even in 5 lap motos on a dry day I put 2 or 3 on just to be safe. And if you get the least amount of mud out there, and you're battling, you'll go through twice that... you can't stop and wipe off your goggles on the track. I havent used the roll offs though... but I would wear something... a 25 pack of tearoffs is cheaper than a new lens for your goggles...

aahh i need a new lens neways... soemthing scratched it ( i think a branch ) and it's a lil awkward to look outta them soemtimes...

has anyone tried those rolls it seems like all the gncc riders have them?

i actually did and they work really good, it takes like 2-3 pumps of the lever to get a full clean lense but they work, someone suggested a roll off and 1 tear off, the tear off for the initial start and the the roll off for the rest of the race.

But note coolguy you'll probably have to use these in the air, its not like you can just reach up in a whoop section and tear off a tear off ect... and jumping probably requires a little more skill...
