I have a 97 wolverine. It starts and runs fine. It is a little soft on the bottom end. I have a uni foam filter and a warn disconect.
My stock main jet is a 140. I put a 142 in it. My idle mixture screw was only one turn out. I went to 2 turns out.
I dont see much difference.
Can someone help me out?

 

IIRC, 2 1/2 turns out is the stock setting on the idle.

The main jet only controls mixture from 3/4 to full throttle, so if your lower end is "soft", you may want to look at other things.

How does the plug look? That would give you a clue as to whether you are rich or lean.
