IRS vs. SRA
#1
I'm considering looking into a new Kodiak or Bruin soon. I've read alot of posts on both of these machines, and they seem to get good reviews. My question is that I was wondering the pro's and con's of IRS compared to a SRA. From what I understand the machines with IRS aren't as "sporty" because they grip the ground much better. I want something that rides really smooth when flying across fields and I guess I'd like somebody to tell me how much smoother of a ride a machine with IRS would ride compared to a SRA, or would there be all that much difference. Any info appreciated.

IRS also has more moving parts and more parts prone to failure, which means more attention and maintenance. While not a real big problem IMO, it is another con to chalk up for the IRS. Ground clearance obviously is a pro as well as the already stated smooth ride.
With the SRA the major cons are loss of ground clearance and smooth ride when compared to IRS. Pros are SRA's are much sportier as you can throw the quad around a bit easier and less moving parts
There isn't really much more to elaborate on. Ride them both and see how you like it. IMO if you are an aggressive rider, then SRA is definately the way to go. If you are seeking comfort or maximum ground clearance then IRS is for you.
