installing a winch & Plow
#1
Ok I need honesty here, we just bought our first quad a 2005 Grizzley 660 and we are getting it today,. My husband wanted to pick it up today before the storm but they can't install the winch or the plow so he told them he would do it. So he is on his way to get it, I told him I thought those were hard to install and he isn't worried. Am I gonna be shoveling tonight or what?

I have a 2001 wolverine with a 1500 super winch. I want to install the plow so that the whinch can lift it up and down. What will I need. I know a plow, and a mounting kit. Anything else? Where do I hook the whinch clip to like which part of the plow?
Please respon soon because I need to buy a plow in a few days.

Putting on the winch is a piece of cake ive put 3 on so far one on my dads bayou one on my unks bigbear and one on my old honda 250 and as most have allready said the hardest part is hideing the wires and mounting the solenoid be sure to take time to zip tie all the wires back away from hot parts or anywere the coating on the wire could be damaged because if you dont it might set a fire or just screw up your atvs wireing I had the one on my dads atv start up sparking about a month after I put it on it some how got down and set rite on top of the motor and started up sparking but it didnt hurt nothing luckly but when we got back I took the tank off it and taped it up the wiring an put some wire loom around it and made sure it was all in the clear that time. Anyways sorry for the long story just wanted to give you good detail for what too look out for just be sure to do what you have to do to get the wires safe even if you have to remove half the plastic it will be worth it in the long run. GOOD luck on yalls little install.-----JEREMY
