so its during the time in the northeast wen were getitng alot of snow and the roads r all covered so i wanted to go ride on them
when i hit the starter button my quad makes no sound and does nothing. Is my battery extemely low, are there any tricks to starting it and can i jump start it with a car. Please address all these points for me thanks.

 

Do any of you light work on your quad. You should be able to boost it with a car or battery charger. If you batt is dead it would be best to charge it at a low amperage overnight.

 

i know this may sound stupid but... is it in gear??

 

If you get around to jump starting...remember to have the donor vehicle NOT running. That say the volts wont be higher than 12.5 volts.
If the car or truck is running, the alternator can make the volts up to 16, and this can be fatal to some electrical pieces of the quad.
What might be easier on the quad, is to hook up a strap, and pull and bump start it.

 

are your wires on your battery conected

happend to my freind couldnt start his preditor cuz the wires were off the battery

 

if the batteries dead put it in 2nd and push start it. or pull it behind somethin els and dump the clutch in 2nd gear.
