yes... good won't do nething to it but when u shut it off use the key or the killswitch..
yes ok

you won't be able to start your quad in gear unless u pull the clutch.. but also u can shift gears with it off but jsut be very careful not to bend the shift forks(?)

yeah, stalling it out is hard on the gears, i found out the hard way, a gear shattered on me while i was riding and caused to wreck and locked up the wheels and i went flyin.

and yeah you can shift gears without it running and it will work without using the clutch but you will never shift through every gear like this, most of the time you just shift like this to get it in neutral to start if your clutch is bad, otherwise you really don't need to shift without it running

just wondering what inspired you to post this question? why wouldnt you be able to shut it off in 1st. just wondering. there is really no reason you couldnt. you can shut you quad off in ANY gear but i would recomend pulling in the clutch or else youll come to a harsh, clanking stop. i wouldnt shut it off without pulling in the clutch. not to easy on the tranny.

as for changing gears while its off you can do that too. i do it all the time to get my blaster in neutral if i need to roll it somewhere (from 1st or 2nd to neutral). works fine. i dont pull in the clutch to do this either. is that bad? it may help to pull in the clutch but it seems like it doesnt do anything for me. ??? if it wont shift while turned off instead of pulling up or pushing down harder on the shifter just rock your quad back and forth while pulling up or pushing down on the shifter and you will feel it slip into gear nicely. i believe you can eventualy get through all the gears (quad off) but its not needed. i havent found a reason to start my quad in any gear besides 1st/ 2nd (standing still). hope this helps and good luck
