The directions in the Pro Design say to connect to wire to a wire coming from Stator, did not work for me, I see some say to hook to white wire out of CDI, I need help but dont want do it wrong!!

i have mine hooked to the wires going from the cdi box to the coil, the coil is what generates the spark, so cutting the power off to it won't let the spark get to the plug wire

 

Ive seen people hook it up to the wires for the key

 

i have mine hooked up this way also
under left front fender

 

Does it Matter that I have the White Bros CDI. and which wire do I hook it up to. Sorry for so many questions, but I dont want to do it wrong!

ive got mine spliced into red wire w/black stripe then ground to frame

 

ok thanks, one person said that it did not work that way when you have a Vortec CDI. and I was just curious about the white bros. I dont want to mess it up. So if I hook to that wire coming out of the CDI, I will be ok!

 

come on guys just a little more help and I will have this thing done. I have searched the previous archives and am still a little confused, some say hook into CDI, one says does not work with Vortec CDI, I have the aftermarket White Bros CDI.

My Tether Kill Switch is Pro Design, trying to wire it to a YFZ 450. Thanks for any and all help
