Dyno jets and minuki's have a much different scale. a 150 Dyno jet is no where close to a 150 minuki... the dyno jet #'s flow more then a same # minuki

I am using the web 736/737 cam. There has been quite a bit of debate about the differences between the mikuni jets vs the dyno jets and a search will let you decide for yourself. You mentioned that you want input from someone with first hand experience and i can give you that on this subject but as is always true with jetting only you can know exactly what you need because you are the only one who feels the differences that changing the jetting will make on your quad.I dont think that you will be even close to being lean with the mods you are getting so the mikuni 175-180 should be a good starting point for you IMO.

Well, I got it apart........ and I can't believe how much carbon build up is on the piston! WOW! I guess I've always errored to the rich side eh?!? LOL

It's never been on a Dyno before, but now I see the importance of it for proper tuning..... it will DEFINITELY go on there after this build!

And from what I'm gathering, I think I will start out with the DynoJet 170/175's until she's broke in.

Thanks again y'all!

Not responsible for the data in the table. Please do not use the table in any way that would affect your health. Please use the table on a contolled track with a trained rider. Do not use this table at home.

Sorry, I forgot the disclaimer.

Madog, please provide an accurate table. Thanks!

I'd love to provide an accurate table, but i"ve never seen one.

A little quick test can help anyone see the folly of the table though. On a piped raptor you would typically run around 160/165 Mikuni mains, while DJ calls for mains south of 150. DJ jets flow more at a specific jet size, say 160, than a mikuni jet does. This fact shows you immediately that the table must be incorrect because it states that a 160 Mikuni is the same as a 170 DJ.

There was a thread on this a very long time ago, no one could produce an accurate chart. So people go on recommending false information, not knowing that the charts just dont measure up. The first time you try to rejet using one of these charts, you'll find out real fast how wrong they are.

I have not been able to find another table.......... anyone else have access to one??

I'm picking my bike up today, so I guess I will try the 175/180 combo for now.
