Default Raptor leaking oil at clutch cover gasket

I have never had the clutch cover off and all of the sudden it is leaking oil. It is leaving a puddle.

I just change my oil to amsoil 10W-40, but maybe that is a coincidence?

Has anyone else just have this gasket start leaking on the Raptor? It's weird.

More common then you think. I just did mine a couple months back and again and again. Just started leaking. I had to replace the gasket and while I was in there I decided to do the clutch too. Once for gasket, twice for clutch, don't put in a EBC clutch.

EBC is smaller in thickness and in the size of the fiber plate area, compared to the stock ones (I compared when I took the EBC out). Did not hold for me. I'm glad it worked for you, but I'm out the money I spent and will not do it again.

if its smoking then its hitting your header, which means its only coming out of one place, that the top of the head, take your tank off, put it too the side, run your bike with the tank off( youll have to hold it in place) and check where the oil is coming from.

Could it be the exhast valve adjustment ports? That's about the only oil access in that vicinity.

Try tightening those up with a 17mm wrench or check the oring.

Maybe your oil vent tube on the head check the cheap clamp. It will shoot oil all over the place. Don't over fill with oil it will find a way out.

Once you pull the clutch cover to change the gasket, is it that much more work to change the clutch? I am sure I am about due.
