There is nothing to "handle!" The Banshee is a machine not an animal! It will only do what you command it to do! If you want to go fast, it will go fast! If you want it to turn, it will turn! If you want it to do a wheelie, it will do a wheelie! If you ride with your head up your butt, it will seriously hurt or kill you! No different than any other quad. The quad's characteristics are the known commodity, it is the rider's mentality that is the unknown part of the equation. As far as getting comfortable, after 2 runs I felt "at home" on my Banshee. The only problem that I encountered was breaking the habits that I had developed from riding the Warrior for 3 seasons. 2 totally different rides! For my style of riding (dunes) I really regretted that I had listened to my salesman who felt that I should buy a Warrior because a Banshee would be too much for me to "handle." Maybe he knew that within 3 years I would be back to get a Banshee. Sold me 2 quads instead of 1. If you want a Banshee but "settle" for something else, you will never be satisfied.
If you do opt for a used Banshee or any used quad for that matter, the closer to stock the better.
If you do opt for a used Banshee or any used quad for that matter, the closer to stock the better.

ok,thanks,i was talking to my freind before and h said i would b fine on a banshee.yeah it would do what i want it to,but i ment like i dont know how fast it does go and i loose control.i guess just learning how fast each gear is,and the capabilitys of it,after knowing that there isnt anything to worry about.i really want a banshee, thats what im going to get now.....i mean when im 16 or 17 i know im going to want to go fast and a warrior wouldnt be able to do that for me and the banshee could.im sorry i keep asking all these dumb questions but i oculd say you guys helped me out, thanks

You are asking roughly the same questions that everyone asks before they plunk down $5,000 for a toy. I don't consider that dumb. As a matter of fact, if you are as smart on your quad as you are buying it you won't have any problems.

ok,thanks for everyones help.ok,i just want to know one thing though that i know but am not to sure about.on a banshee its a kick start and since it has a thumb throttle,do you still have to give it some gas with your thumb? i know you probably do but wouldnt it be harder then on a dirtbike, like you would give it to much gas? and one more,i herd twist throttles rae $30,is that true?

If your debating between the Warrior and a 400EX, the 400EX is the way to go. You can find a used one for about $4500 or less. I have a 400EX and my friend has a Warrior, to me they are as different as night and day(400EX alot better). If you do alot of trail riding I would definitely not get the Banshee. My brother was 15 when I got my 400EX and he only weighs 120lbs and he was throwing it around after a couple months of riding. My opinion is you should find a used 400ex.
