does anyone know the cheapest place to buy the tool needed to remove the stator or anyway how to remove it without using the tool

Local dealer. Don't buy a K&N flywheel puller though. Spend the extra couple bucks and buy a Motion Pro.

You will screw up your flywheel if you try pulling it any other way besides a correct puller.
