Front end - there is no cheap and reliable way around it, you need shocks with preload adjustment or zero preload setup. Yfz shocks would be the cheapest way to go, better handling and lower front end. The lowering kits are a bandaid at best and arent good to have on there when the tires leave the ground or you hit rough terrain.

Rear end - You can drop the preload down on the stock shock, flip the stock linkage, or buy a lowering strut. If you get a lowering strut I suggest something with a grease zerk and something adjustable. Flipped linkage not so much for jumping, and if you are a bigger guy you may need to keep some of that rear preload.

As long as your not jumping much, the front lowering blocks won't hurt anything. I ran a set for a long time with no problems or damage.

I had the rear lowering kit from CRJ. I ran it twice and on the second time out my rear suspension decompressed the whole way and would spring back. Had to ride roads the whole way home feeling like I was on an old 3-wheeler with no rear suspension. I would agree with others when they say that the lowering kits are fine as long as you are flat tracking... motorcross or just trail riding, they just arnt made for.

If you want to see how far it lowers the bike, look at my pics.

The simplest way would buy the front lowering blocks for the lower shock mounts...like CFM Performance.

Then flip the rear linkage. You will be 2" lower in the rear. You'll also be about 4" lower in the front, and about 2" wider. As long as your not jumping in the dunes you will be fine. If you are wanting to be lower to help stabilize the raptor then it will. If your doing some drag racing and want to help keep the front end down, then lowering it will do that as well.
