Default Bringing old plastic back to life

Hey guys, I am new here on site (just a couple of posts), it is great. In Dirt Wheels a long time ago (like 12-15 years) there was an artical about buffing up old plastic to shine almost like new. The problem comes from knowing it can be done with a polisher and compound, but I have no clue where to start with what compound. I am puting a sticker kit on my wife's warrior and would like to get rid most of the scratches so everything goes on nice. Any help would be great.

Wet sand the scratches out, use like 1000 grit and work your way up to 2000 grit, then a light polishing compound will finish it off real nice.

Riding boots will rub up the rear fenders and dirt will stick in there, causing it to brown, i used a MR.Clean magic eraser and it got all the dirt out and it looks white again.

it stays the same, just have to be very soft when sanding, if you sand too hard youll screw it up.

its a very tedious procedure.

look at my pics also, my 89 warrior has almost flawless plastic because of the wetsanding and maticulous maintanance over the years.
