2000 Yamaha Blaster
i have a 2000 yamaha blaster that was running fine jsut before i put it away for the winter. ive ran it several times since putting it away, but never actually riden it. When i tryed to ride it a few days ago the clutch cable was tight as hell and when i put it in gear it stalls out. im thinking i should lube my cable, and change to a lower viscocity oil since its pretty cold right now. any other suggestions. thanks for the help.

Yes lube ur cable, change the oil if that dont work then u might have some problems.. trust me ive been through some clutches (speed shifting) order a new gasket get some new allen wrench bolts for the clutch side case. and take it apart. U might need to get springs or also there is a push rod make sure thats not bent at all..there a bi*ch to get out but if u go this far take it out then go to a smooth table and let it roll you will be able to tell if its bent.. but my best advice go to ebay pay $18.99 for a workshop manual and go from there.. good luck
