Raptor oil qustion
#11
I, like HoundDog06 have used Rotella in everything I have owned. It has no friction modifiers in it. Pulled an engine down with 160K on it and the bearings looked like new.
Whatever you do don't get an oil with friction modifiers in it. Very few do, just don't get ahold of one.
As far as syn vrs dino goes. Here is my opinion. All of our round D round race cars have syn in them. Never had any oil related problems with them. All of our drag cars have dino in them. Never had any oil related problems with them either.
If you are going to be in some sort of extreem conditions I would ALWAYS run syn. If you are just going out for a weekend with your friends I would stick with dino. Thats my 2 cents.
