maybe he has a high gear ratio, something like 3.73 or higher, i'm running 4.56's with a Detroit Locker, i also have plenty of power to turn them over, i've did a few burnouts with my truck, but Swampers are too expensive to replace, and i already have to replace one from last week the first time i took it through the woods and i came back with a 1/2 slit in the sidewall and it's non repairable so i have to get new ones, also if any of you guys wonder why i said 1st time is because i like to keep it all cleaned up, cause the chicks like it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] so i keep it all cleaned up and pretty looking

 

i like Fords too as well as Dodges, but Chevies are my favorite. my dad was a big fan of the 75-77 Ford F250 Highboys, he owns 3 F250 Highboys, a 2 75's each with 390 big blocks, and a 76 with a 428. he also owns a 77 2wd Ford with a 460 in it, this truck is suprising, we smoke built rice burners with ease with this truck, it has an auto tranny with a Edlebrock 750 on it, and it doesn't have a governer on it. this 77 is a real ugly truck it's an orange color, but man it really suprised me and he only paid 300 bucks for it cause the older guy he got it off of didn't want it no more and wanted to get rid of it.

my 350 has a 460 in it...gas hog but i does have the power...

im runnin 411's right now with a detroit locker, its nice offroadin, but i go through u-joints constantly

 

I say weather he has the mods on it or not its one hell of a nice looking truck.

fords had a problem with blowing u joints out, my dad used to always blow them out, he blew the yoke out of them quite a few times too. they are still awesome looking truck and one of the best pulling trucks there are. dodges whoop just about any truck out there in pulling cause they are built for h.p., chevies are the same way, only it's hard to keep them s.o.b's from bouncing and breaking driveshafts.

 

Hey that is a sweet truck I have an 70 dodge with a 318 not much just got it fastblaster00 I dont think you need to mouth everything he says I will garentee that is pushin 500+ becasue it is stroked that changes a lot my friend has his 79 stroked and it is one runnin SOB and Fast you do a lot of mouthen for some one who only has a blaster

well i could say my truck is stroked to. i could say whatever i want and nobody would know the difference. i could go get a pic of a lifted truck with 44s and 1 1/2 tone axles and a supercharged 454 and say its mine and get people to beleave me. im just sayin what i see. ud garentee its over 500 hp, y have u seen it? better yet have u ridin in it, seen it dynod, or even know whats in the motor. im not sayin i dought him im just say i find it a lil hard to beleave hes got a 500+ hp 3/4 tone truck with a 6 inch lift, 35s, locked front and rear and only runnin a stock 700 tranny . thats ALOT of stress to put on a stock tranny and t-case. 700 trannys are week to begin with along with transfercases, but the np205s are a good t-case. i just cant see alot of wheelin getting done with that truck b4 the tranny blows. my dads friend has a k-5 blazer with a 454 thats supercharged and puts 612 hp to the rear wheels. i saw the film of him getting it dynod. idk what els is done to the motor tho. its got military axles, 44 inch bogers (in the pics are his 40s he uses around town). he took the hole truck apart and had it rhynolined inside and out and the frame rhynolined also. the frame is red, inside of the truck is red, and the outside is black. everythign was done by him and he has a small 4wheel drive shop, and he can do ANYTHING. hes crazy. its got a full rolcage in it to. the rollcage is red, the black tubing is for the soft top. im putting the pics on my page now. the onlythign tahts stock on that truck is the body. i just find it hard to beleave that nichelsonracing87 runs a stock tranny with a 500+ hp motor and is 17 and has all that stuff he says. but whatever. if he says hes got it i guess i beleave him.... id like to see some pics of the motor, expecily the buildup of it. and IATVHSSracer u seem to be doin alot of mouthin off for a noob with 7 posts.... and for someone who only has a warrior

man where the hell do you get 1 1/2 ton axles, those are like damn semi truck axles, the biggest a pickup truck has is 1 ton. this isn't the first tranny the truck ever had in it, and i'm looking for a Muncie 3 or 4 speed for in it, autos suck to me, also i don't mud bog it, it's a truck to show off, there isn't many like it around, and the ladies love it, it's not worth tearing s*** out of it. and you can say what the f*** you want, but i work for everything i have, so quit bugging me about it, if you want s*** like i got, go get a good job and work for it, don't try to call me a lier and don't tell me i don't have what i do have. at least i provide pics of what i have unlike you. so just ease up about it and quit making a fool out of yourself by mouthing about everything i have, it's probably all over jealousy, because you must be jealous of what i have and what you don't.

 

nichelson, just out of curiosity, what do u get for gas mileage? im gettin around 8-10
