You say that's an 80, yet it has the vertical marker lights of the 73-79 chevies. The 80-87 had the horizontal marker lights.
Not only that, but that truck's ride height looks identical to the way my 79 scottsdale was with 33's and a few added leafs.

man you people are dumb about older Chevy trucks, let me fill you in on some info.....first of all fastblaster00
those are not stock manifolds, do you want me to get pics of stock ones, those are Hooker headers that is a brand of Holley that rusted up, and yes i do have one hell of a job, my parents don't buy me a whole lot, i'm not babied around like alot of teenagers are, i have to work for everything i want, so don't be starting with that stuff, and damn, 18g's into a foxbody mustang, what is it a 5.0 or a 4 cylinder model, my buddy had one that ran low 11's and didn't have no where near that kind of money into it, hell the 97 Z28 Camaro my mom has is running high 12's and it's only bored out with flat top pistons, I wouldn't want a 5.0 Stang if i had to put 18g's into it to get it to run 11's at the strip, i'd go find an older Porsche or something for that extra money, and
whatwasthat

that pretty much tells me that you don't know too much about the older chevies, because it was 81-87 were the horizontal lights with different style hood and front fenders, the 80's were the same as the 73-79 just with square headlights and a different styled grille, i can order a 75 grille that will fit right into my truck with the round headlights and make you think it was a totally different year, you would never know if you never seen the pics, i grew up with chevies that was all my family owned and dealed with, my cousins both have 72 Chevy pulling trucks and the one races a sh** load of 69 Camaros, so when i say about something i'm positive on it especially when it comes to Chevy Trucks

oh it's not a 3000Gt man lol, i wish i had one of those, especially the AWD twin turbo model, when my mom bought her camaro, she had the choice of the Camaro or a 3000GT, those GT's are fast as hell, they are clocked for somewhere around 180-190, these things will get up and go lol, the Shadows were fast for what they were, with the 3.0V6 ES models being the best, which is what i have, when i bought my car, they guy i bought it off of had installed an aftermarket turbo on it and a cold air intake, for 900 bucks i made out on this little car cause i've beaten numerous Honda Civics and Acura Integras with it, my Shadow is only clocked for 125, but the needle doesn't stop there it'll go back to zero where the pin is to stop it, i've had my car doing 115 at 4grand on the tach with still 3grand more to go yet, next week i'm supposed to have an exhaust coming so that'll move the H.P's up a little more, i can't wait

later guys

well that's a 6" suspension lift that came straight from SuperLift, and also my truck looks bigger in person, to get my whole truck into the picture i had to be back pretty far to get the whole thing included. and was your Scottsdale a suspension lift or a body lift, both make different heights, my buddy has a sh***y looking 73?(different years of parts) that has a 6" body lift(2 3"s stack on top of one another) and his sits higher than mine, but body lifts raise the body itself not the whole truck, also body lifts are more dangerous especially if you do like my buddy did and stack 2 3" body's on top of each other, i'm suprised his cab didn't fall off when going around sharp turns.

hey nichelsonracing, way to give'em he!!. love the chevies too, have a '77 ( with verticle lights lol) w/ 4" superlift, 35's, and some goodies under the hood. its good to see someone of your age working for what u got. too many young ppl expect things to be handed to them. then they don't appreciate what they have. after all, it didn't come out of their pockets. in ur bio you said you race. any xc? if so where. i know of a few ppl looking for tracks to run at. thanx
