If you plan on doing most of your own work, get a Clymer manual,it has all the procedures you need in there. But to help you out, as you probably know, you must remove the front fenders and gas tank, then remove the side cover to see the cam chain/gear on the head, then remove the large slotted cover on the left side engine case, and the little plastic slotted on above it ( you probably know all this, I'm just giving ALL instructions in case anyone else is curious.) remove the 2 aluminum covers on the intake and exhaust rockers on the top of the motor, then with a 17mm socket ( I think that is the size) , turn the bolt head on the side of the engine case counter clockwise, looking into the little hole on top for marks. You will see a F mark, wait until you see a T mark, line it up with the slot in the hole, now check the cam gear, there should be a mark on the gear lining up with a line on the head case, and you should be able to wiggle the rockers for intake and exhaust, if not, you could be way out, and may need to cycle the motor a couple of times, watching the valves and rockers, if all else fails, put a finger over the plug hole (motor turns over a lot easier without the plug in it) when you feel the compression pushing on your finger, you should see the T mark lining up, leave it there, and set your valves to spec, rotate the motor a couple of times and recheck, and you should be good.
OOPS !! after typing all this, I realized you are probably asking about your Raptor, I just gave you the procedure for setting the Wolverine valves, don't know if that will be the same for the Raptor, sorry !!!

95 Wolv: I thought you were talking about a raptor myself until you caught yourself.
The procedure is alot easier on the later model wolverine because of the added pull starter. I just adjusted mine last night. I did not remove the gas tank or front fenders. All I had to do was remove the flat head screw that lets you see the timing mark on the flyweel. Then using the pull starter slowly line up the T mark with the line. Once it is lined up you are good to go. Just remove the allen bolts on the alluminum covers and check the clearances. I assume that the clearances are the same for all years. If so they are:
Intake .06mm to .10mm
exhaust .16mm to .20mm
Just make sure you have a metric feeler gauge before you get started.
