unclear on tire size need help

Default unclear on tire size need help

I have a 2004 raptor so my rear tire size is 20 -10-9 I want to buy some 23' tires. do I just order 23-10-9 and they fill fit on my existing rims

I have 22" Kenda bear claws I use for trail riding. Work great. I'm not sure the 23" tires will clear your heel guards. I could be wrong.

Well, consider this scenario...

Heel catches tire, leg gets run over by back tire. Lower leg gets shredded by foot peg requiring 27 stitches. That's the best case. Worst case, broken leg.

Sorry, just don't like the idea [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] i'm sure there's some here with first hand knowledge of taking off heel guards.

BTW, i bet the riding in Kitimat is amazing. I always planned on going to see that famous Sitka.

My buddy got his leg broke WITH heel gaurds on... Not a pretty site! I dunno about taking them off haha. Your leg though...

if you want more speed throw a smaller sprocket on the back.. the bigger the tires the hard your clutch works. my friend had 22 inch pure sport realtors and they are pretty heavy.. bike was 3 months old and he blew the clutch out..
