Having trouble removing spark arrestor, Help!
#1
I have a 98" wolverine and i am trying to remove my spark arrestor for a better sound and a little more power. It is pretty much square from me pulling on it with pliers. Any tips or tricks on how to get it out? thanks

Sounds like you have already trashed it.
Here is how to get it on out. First spray the thing with some WD 40 and let is soak for a while. Then latch on to it really good with some vice grips. Next, take a hammer and hit the vice grips really hard. Keep doing this and you'll get it.
If it's any consolation, I ended up bending mine a bit when I removed it. I was in a hurry and didn't use any penetrating oil. I'll probably just buy another new one if I ever decide to put one back on.

do you have a dent puller for auto body work? i used one to pull mine out and it work very easy and fast and i didn't bend anything up so i can put it back in if i want to , only thing it did to it was left a small hole where i had to screw the puller onto it .
