i felt the opposite. i dont however ride in sand, but it feels like it will pull up easier with the stage1 in. it just seems like throttle repsonse and power was increased to me. who knows.

I know it doesn't sound right but that's what my experience was and I'm sure it's different then most. I do know that when making power it's the whole package or combination of mods working together is what's important. What a single mod (cam) in one set-up does may have a different result with a different set-up.

what about the X4 cam that woke up rapfam sis's bike. Is it that big of difference. Still getting use to the stage 2 noise at idle.

What do you set them at? We set them at .006" and .008" and didn't have much noise.

That is what I set them at. More noise than the stage 1. I even had a freind ask if they are suppose to sound that loud.

the x-4, or also know as the sparks hi-rev cam, is an excellent choice, but its a top end cam. and its a race cam

im dumping by stage 1 and getting the x-4 next month.

sissixt that funny how you say you cant pop the front end up anymore on your raptor, with that stage 1 in.

with my current set up when i dropped the stage 1 i noticed it reves farther, more power in top end, and i can get the front end to come up in any gear with no effort.

if your not a drag racer, and your just looking for a little more power i would get a stage 2.

i'd never purchase a web cam, ive heard to many bad thing about them, plus a lot of guys do like the grind that they offer.

i supposed for a good allround cam, a web would work, but i would never purchase for the style of riding i do.

ive got the stage 1 and i like it a lot. 160/155&a 27.5. i dont think i moved it up though it runs awesome but i highly modified my air box also. i cut out as much as possible. also a yoshi full comp system. i went 165/160 it didnt run as well. but i think that when i did it i think my choke cable was stretched therefore not enough air. but i never messed with it again.
