Glamisman - ever taken a picture of a huge sand dune, that didn't look quite so impressive once you got the pics back?

Apparently Glamisman hasn't jumped high or hard enough to bend any parts, else experience would prevent him from posting what he has.

An axle can be severely bent with little visible evidence. I have bent several, my last was a 250R axle that was substantially banana'd. I was going to take a picture of it for a friend the other day, you couldn't tell it was bent at all from the pic... If you spin it, it's a totally different story, unridable & dangerous...

I also have many flintstoned wheels, many you can't see how bent they are from casual inspection, others (mostly my 250R wheels) are quite obvious. In all cases, spinning the wheels reveals how truly bent they really are....

Glamisman,
Cant yu give carpe the benifit of the doubt?
I have known carpe for a little while and spoke with him on occasions in the forums, heck I think we met up once riding and didnt even know it, hehe. But to speculate and flame about his problem, you should take that elsewhere and not wind ppl up.
That would be like me saying (your not from cali, your jealous new yorker, or, you dont have a raptor, bla bla bla) I could go on forever, just drop it and stick to the post.

If the a-arms are to thin and breaking, yamaha should be made aware of the problem and contacted immediatly, state what happened, photos and anything else you could do.
There have already been posts on this subject.
Either buy new ones or contact yamaha, oh and carpe, hope to see ya out at Rocky Ridge this weekend!

Gabe,
I know what you are saying about the dune pics. Mine were like that. Things in 2-D just don't it!
