Starter Problem on 727 Raptor
#22
If you got your old parts back, look in the Cam. The pin is in the center of the camshaft on the sproket side. If it is there, then your shop didn't put it in. If there is a hole there, then they probably did put it in the new cam.

The shop just came and picked up the four wheeler. They still have my old parts but I sent them copies of this posting and I think they reallized they made a mistake and left the decompression pin out. They initially told me that it would not turn over if it was top dead center but it wont ever turn over unless you roll the motor back and I can't believe that that thing stops top dead center every time I shut it down. I will post the results after I hear what they found.

I got the same problem with Trinity kit. I am new to this forum and would love to finally fix my Raptor starting.
I have no idea if the decompression pin is in. Go for the Grizzly Battery mentioned previously?

Does anyone know for a fact that by upgrading the battery & heavier gauge pos. cable will fix the starting problem?
Yuasa YTX20H-BS Grizzly ??
My Raptor wil bump start only. I am going so dissapointed it does not have a kick starter.
