Travelling from BC Canada, what jetting modificatins are needed to ride in Oregon sand dunes? What type of sand tires work well with a 660 Raptor?

ITP sandstars give some killer hookup, while allowing your to turn the bike pretty easily. For just straight shot hook-up ten paddle scat-trak haulers rule.

As for jetting are you dropping in elevation or rising. Im not sure what your elevation in BC is.

ive ridden at horsefall, houser and spinreel. loved horsefall, houser. it was fun dragging up boxcar. i felt that the dunes there werent too overwhelming. but the tree runs were kind of hairy on a couple of them i went to winchester, the dunes are huge and unpredictable for my first time there. i went during dunefest last year. banshee hill was pretty fun. only lost traction once there. i have 2 sets of paddles. i run 22x11x10 9 paddle taller haulers on a 9 inch rim most of the time . it gives me great hookup for dragging, but it doesnt turn very well at all. the others are 20x11x10 9 paddle haulers on a 10 inch rim, those are a lot more fun i can turn those better. if you just wanna have fun i think id go with a v paddle so you can sling it around a bit. youll have more fun that way. that is just my opinion. everyone is different
