Plug Color On 4-stroke.
#1
Hey all. when my bike was all stock, my plug was a White/Light tan color, a little lean. SO i did some simple mods, and re-jetted. the quad runs stronger now, but now my plug is: The L shaped part is black, and the inside oval part is a dark tan. Should i go down a size on the Main jets? thanks all.

Did ya start with a NEW plug?????? How long did you ride er for ??????? (minium thirty to forty-five minutes)
Also Tech tip 101.......Start your quad let it warm up, shut it down and replace plug with a new one...the reason is, your fuel enrichner that you use on start-up tends to give you some RICH conditions on your plug and it carries thru with your plug chop......
Your jetting looks good in your signature.......

i just put a new plug in. The quad seemed not want to revv out in the higher gears, i just went to a 150/155 , so ill see how that is. I had about 1 Hr on it befor, and i only use the choke for about 30sec then i shut it off.
