Looks to me like If he broke his vertebrea it was on the initial fall. The only reason he is lucky is cuz he WASN'T ridding a quad.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

I can relate to this guy. That is exactly what happened to me during a race across the dunes. I made a clean jump but the bike chased me and the seat nailed me right in the back. Gave me a 45% compression fracture of the T6 vertebrae.

Bro, im at a loss for words, that looked like it could have been SOOOO much worse for him, i thought he got nailed at first but when they slow it down you see how lucky the guy really was, thats sick. Someone was looking out for this guy, wether it be lady luck or a higher power.

 

Wow... i'm not sure what would have hurt worse. When the rear tire nails his back while in the air which really accelerated him or the bike landing on him. They both looked sick.

its UNlucky that the bike even hit him that much. he is however lucky he could walk off. he could have had some REAL serious injuries. awesome crash...well awesome looking. not awesome that he crashed[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] he went flying! hope hes ok tho[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

whoa! i didnt notice the rear tire hitting him the first couple of times i saw that. is that what really happened? did that accelerate him in the air? thats crazy.

thats one of the things i dont like about <u>SOME</u> people (not all or many) that ride dirtbikes. they think that they are so much better than atv riders. quads and dirtbikes are both amazing and both have their advantages in certain areas. i know some ppl have their preferances but why bash or be ashamed to ride a quad?

 

hey, once me and my friend and my brother were fooling around at a town pit and around the edge of the pit there is about a 15ft. ledge that is straight down, actuallt it was soo steep it went in, and he was having a little fit because my brother wouldnt gp up a big hil climb that he did so he toke my brothers helmet, hid it in the woods and all of the sudden we saw him coming around the top of the pit in like 3rd gear and he rode right off the edge, didnt even slow down. i didnt know wtf he was smoking. when he went into the air, he did like half of a frontflipa nd then the bike was on top of him and he was underneath and they hit the ground and he was like crawled up in a ball underneath it. at first i was laughing, but then when he sat up, toke off his glove and saw that his wrist was barely on his arm, it got serious! he was going into shock right then, so we walked to a house and asked to yuse the phone. he ended up taking a ambulabnce to the hospital and had to get surgery. he ended up having a severe nerve pinched, and broke the alna and the radius apart from the wirst. now, it has been about a few months and now he has to get nerve repair surgery. he was lucky though, it could of been so worse. the sight of him crashing was just nasty, how he landed underneath it. now he isnt sure if he is going to ride again. oh yea, he has a drz-125 and my bro has a ttr-125l, both like the same machines. he was just so lucky though...
