400ex vs Warrior
#1
how much more faster is a 400 than the warrior. I heard a 400 goes about 68 stock and a warrior goes around 62 stock. I have 14 40 sprockets and 22' rear tires. How much more faster will it go from that?

You have 14/40 gearing and 22" tires on what?
If it's the Warrior you're only up 1 tooth on the front which will translate to about 5mph better on top end, providing you can pull it.
If it's the 400EX, I dont' know what stock gearing is, but the taller tires will help your top speed a bit.

well my friends 400ex with stock tires and pipe hit 68mph with him on it.. he is light he had stock tires etc. My warrior with my alba stuff on it could hit about 64mph with me 200 pounds on it on the highway. The 400ex is just a step up on the warrior for speed but everything else about it is all around better, handleling, jumping, racing, stunting. The warrior does have one strong strong motor tho.

400ex's are faster than warriors stock. warriors go around 61 and 400ex's around 65+. you can mod a warrior to beat the 400ex but if you have the same mods on the 400ex it will be a little faster i think. i dont think you will gain TOO much top speed with the sprocket but it will help. the sprocket may ruin your acceleration tho. you already have 22"s. are you talking about drag racing or just being able to go faster then the 400ex? i wouldnt mess with the sprockets and tire size TOO much without engine mods to help get it up to top speed but thats just me. good luck.

i have a stock warrior and was recently pulled over by the cops. All in all, he radar gunned my bike in 6th gear. From what the offical Rhode Island radar gun says, I was hitting 64 in 6th gear. So, my stock hits 64.. i dno bout urs.. but mine does.. then again, mines near mint condition. I dno.. just thought it would help.

yur not gonna pick up 5-7mph on a warrior w/ just a pipe expacially a DG cuz there the bottom of the barrel pipe and same thing w/ a 400ex w/o a 440 kit or spending alot of money into the engine w/ stock bore u r not gonan hit 75 unless u have lik 15-38 gearing and will take u a mile to reach top speed

Believe it or not .. my Warrior with just the FMF slipon, stock gears and fairly new (only about 700km on) razr rears hit 109.9km/h (a touch over 68mph) on a slight downhill. Not inconceivable that one with filter and proper jetting can hit 70. Also, it did take a long stretch to hit that speed ... thinking about 2km or so .. which is over a mile .. on hard pack dirt road.
As for the EX .. I'm pretty sure that the EX hits it's rev limiter in stock trim, same as the Z's .. so adding power won't increase its speed ... it'll just top out faster ..
