Realistic Raptor HP gain????
#1
What kind of gain (HP wise) will you get by going to an aftermarket filter, exhaust, and re-jet without touching the motor (Realistically)??
I have ridden them, but never owned one.
Thanks!

Wow!! 9 to 13 HP?? I never would have guessed you'd get that much from just an airfilter, pipe and re-jet!

Havn't jetted it yet hope to have that done tommorow or the next day...Is your DRD extremely (like <1cm) close to your stock grab bar?? Because ours is... Do you have any jetting reccomendations? I think we'll start at 175-180 and work our way down but i have know idea what pilot or needle clip!

Here is MY set-up. Jet yours accordingly, depending on your mods.
Stock airfilter, Lid removed, DR D, 172 Main, 45 Pilot, Stock needle 5th clip (may or may not need to go 6th clip), fuel screw 2 1/2 turns out. Set up for sea level, at 50-70 Degrees F.
I have absolutely NO hesitation, and it pulls strong throughout the entire throttle range.
The above jetting is what I would recommend to start out with.
Be sure to let me know how you like it.

Thanks for the jetting tips... I think we might have to run 175 since we ditched the airbox (you should to if you ride sand good setup) Do you think we might have to go up to a 48 pilot?

You may or may not have to go to a 48 pilot. If you have excessive popping on decel, and you can't get rid of it without going more than 2 1/2 to 3 turns out on the fuel screw, then go up one to the 48 pilot, and re-adjust the fuel screw.
Give me a second, and I will give you a link on how to properly set-up your fuel screw.
